Current Restorations

We are currently restoring three 1965 Fastbacks simultaneously! Updates on each project will be posted when information and pictures are available. By the way, if you ever encounter a question during the course of your restoration, ask us! As avid Mustang enthusiasts ourselves, we know how Mustang owners love to network and exchange information. We have written several Mustang Guides that offer step-by-step instructions on various restoration techniques. If your question involves a complex answer, we will create a new Mustang Guide, so that other Mustang restorers can have this reference tool as well!

1965 C Code Fastback: Project 1

This is a 1965 C Code Fastback that is currently under restoration. The floor pans have been replaced. Rear quarter panel patches have been installed and the cowling has been removed. It has been sandblasted and epoxy primered. Now it is in the body work/finishing stage where body filler is applied to the dings and the seams on the undercarriage, roof and rear quarter panels. The cowling will be reinstalled once the inside area is painted. Next, the vehicle suspension will be installed and the car will be removed from the rotisserie for further assembly. Once this unibody is prepped to perfection, it will be garaged until Project 2 and Project 3 are restored to the same condition.

This project will receive a 1989 5.0L fuel injected 302 with automatic transmission. Also, destined for this car is a 4.56 Detroit Locker differential. Can you say "Zero to sixty in 3 seconds... and 10,000 RPM! Don't forget your neck brace!"

1965 C Code Fastback: Project 2

We don't have any pictures of this one yet, but it is soon to follow the same procedures as Project 1. We will post pictures and updates on this project soon!

This project will receive a 1969 351 Windsor with a Thumper cam and bullet proof C4 AT. A 3.73 geared 9" rear end also awaits this project.

1965 T Code Fastback: Project 3

We don't have any pictures of this one yet, but it is soon to follow the same procedures as Projects 1 and 2. Well, it might follow a few of its own procedures as it is a vehicle that is in pretty bad shape! We will post pictures and updates on this project soon!

This project will receive a freshly built 302 with a top loader 4 speed transmission. Hmmm... maybe some strange rear end gears await this one?
